Role Description The Financial Research Analyst at Máster en Ingeniería Avanzada del Motorsport (MIAM UPM) will conduct financial and market research related to motorsport engineering projects, academic programs, and industry partnerships. This part-time, remote role involves collecting and analyzing financial data, building and maintaining financial models, and preparing clear reports and presentations to support strategic and operational decision-making. The analyst will monitor industry trends, evaluate the financial viability of initiatives, and contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities.

Collaboration with academic staff, project managers, and external stakeholders is expected, with a focus on delivering accurate, timely, and actionable insights.

Qualifications

- Ability to perform in-depth Financial Research and apply solid Finance principles to support decision-making.
- Robust Analytical Skills, including data interpretation,



problem-solving, and quantitative analysis.
- Proficiency in Financial Modeling, including scenario analysis and forecasting using spreadsheets or relevant tools.
- Clear and effective Communication skills for presenting findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with motorsport, engineering projects, or related industries is an advantage.
- Comfort working independently in a remote, part-time setting, managing deadlines and multiple tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree (or current advanced studies) in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering with financial focus, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Python, R, or BI platforms) and strong attention to detail are beneficial.
