About the role
We're seeking experienced hospitality professionals to join our Catering team. You'll deliver premium food and beverage service, support event operations before, during and after service, and help create exceptional guest experiences across a diverse range of world-class events.
About you
You are reliable, professional, customer-focused, and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment. You have hospitality experience, a positive attitude, and a passion for delivering excellent service.
Essential Attributes:
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate for Victoria
- Valid Australian working rights
- Ability to confidently carry 3 plates and transparent up to 5
- Availability across a 7-day roster, including weekends
- Able to be on your feet for long periods of time
- Strong presentation and grooming standards
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to assist with event setup and pack-down
- Physical fitness to work across a large venue and move equipment when required
Desirable:
- Food allergen and dietary knowledge
- Gala lunch and dinner service experience
- Event setup and pack down experience
- Bar tending/cocktail experience
- Food Handling Certificate
- Barista experience
- Experience in a large entertainment,
hospitality or event venue
Interviews & Training
Group 1
- Interview: Monday, 7 September
- Induction: Monday, 21 September
- Stand Up / Sit Down Training: Tuesday, 22 September
Group 2
- Interview: Tuesday, 8 September
- Induction: Wednesday, 23 September
- Stand Up / Sit Down Training: Thursday, 24 September
Please note: You must be available to attend the interview, induction, and training dates assigned to your group. These dates are fixed and cannot be changed.
Shift times may include:
- Early morning shifts possibly starting from 5.30am (including breakfast events)
- Afternoon, evening and late-night shifts (including cocktail functions and gala dinners) finishing in the early hours of the morning.
- Having availability across both weekdays and weekends is required.
