Established gourmet food company based in St Peters is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented team member for warehouse and food production duties.

This role would suit someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in doing things properly, and can work independently once trained.

Duties include

- Picking and packing customer orders
- Weighing, preparing and packing gourmet food products
- Labelling containers, pouches and bottles accurately
- Preparing products for dispatch and carton packing
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse
- Assisting with stock control and general warehouse duties
- Following food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures

- Applicants must have sufficient English language skills to understand written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively in the workplace.

This role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will be responsible for preparing, weighing, labelling and packing a wide range of gourmet food products. Accuracy is essential, as product weights, labels and packaging must be completed correctly before dispatch. Casual rate: $32.31 per hour during training and probation period. Higher rates available for employees who demonstrate reliability, accuracy, independence and a willingness to take on additional responsibility.

Hours

Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm

This is a long-term position. Applicants seeking short-term work or working holiday visa holders will not be considered.
