The Fulfillment Supervisor plays a key role as part of the front-line pick, pack and shipping team. This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of order picking, packing and preparing Distributor and customer orders for shipment, as well as maintaining records of order progress in Australia and New Zealand.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

● Ensures work areas are clean and free from safety hazards.

- Determines the most efficient way to fulfil product orders, formulates and communicates plans to maximise efficiency and maintain quality, and continuously seeks new efficiencies across the business.
- Ensures compliance with quality assurance and safety standards across the production floor, consistent with the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Qld), and participates in the Safety Committee.
- Ensures inventory accuracy by performing regular stock takes and promptly resolving discrepancies.
- Supervises the execution of assigned department tasks and plans production/staffing needs daily, weekly and quarterly.
- Oversees the creation, execution and maintenance of training manuals and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all operations functions.
- Ensures teams consistently meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs), providing support and guidance on adherence to processes and procedures.
- Communicates effectively with fellow supervisors, the Manager and team members, sharing daily operational updates and maintaining transparent communication upwards, downwards and across the organisation.
- Fosters a team-oriented environment, collaborating with Team Leads to promote teamwork and instil the company vision across all associates.
- Acts as a problem solver to defuse workplace conflicts, maintaining a calm and motivating influence on peers and employees.
- Supports the development of staff under their leadership, including conducting performance reviews and recommending pay increases, while pursuing their own professional development.

Qualifications Required for Position

● Senior secondary certificate of education (e.g. Queensland Certificate of Education) or equivalent relevant experience.

● Minimum of 5 years' manufacturing/warehouse experience.





● Minimum of 2 years' experience leading teams and/or direct reports.

● Experience applying workplace health and safety standards and best practice.

● Experience working in a team-based environment.

● Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the facility and organisation.

● Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a basic understanding of decision-making processes.

● Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.

● Experience with an ERP (we use MS Dynamics Business Central) is highly regarded.

● Flexibility to work across all rostered shifts to meet business needs, in accordance with the applicable award.

● Detail-oriented, organised and able to multitask.

● Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.

● Reliable and consistent attendance is expected, subject to reasonable adjustments where required.

Qualifications Desired for Position

● Current Queensland High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) – Forklift (Class LF); previous experience with order picking and/or general warehouse procedures.

● Previous supervisory experience in a production and/or warehouse environment.

● Excellent time management, attention to detail, and verbal and written communication skills.

● Strong listening, decision-making and organisational skills.

● Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

● Strong numeracy skills, including the ability to calculate discounts, tax, proportions, percentages and reductions.

● Excellent interpersonal skills, including coaching, team-building and training.

Licences Required for Role

● Current Queensland High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) – Forklift (Class LF), issued by Workplace Health and Safety Queensland.

This role is subject to occasional required overtime, paid in accordance with the applicable award.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, feel and/or use a tape dispensing gun, reach with hands and arms to handle materials, and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required include colour vision, close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and push cartons across a skate conveyor; stoop and kneel, and is occasionally required to crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 11 kg. The employee is occasionally required to access product on the floor or on low shelves, and may operate a hand truck or pallet jack to move materials.

The employee must occasionally lift, move (including dragging), slide, raise and/or place:

● Pallets from the floor onto their side, move up to 3 metres and return to the original position, at a weight of up to 16 kg.

● Cartons onto a cart to move materials within the fulfilment areas.

The employee must frequently lift, move (including dragging), slide, raise and/or place:

● Boxes weighing up to 11 kg, from 12 cm off the ground up to 90 cm high, and return to the original position.
