Role Description The Full Stack Engineer will design, develop, and maintain web applications that power the Commonry platform. This full-time, on-site role in Parramatta, NSW involves working across front-end and back-end systems to deliver scalable, secure, and user-friendly features.

Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing responsive user interfaces, building and optimizing APIs, integrating databases, and collaborating with product and design teams to refine requirements. The engineer will also participate in code reviews, testing and debugging, performance tuning, and deployment processes,



while contributing to architectural decisions and documentation.

Qualifications

- Strong back-end web development skills, including experience with server-side frameworks and APIs.
- Proficiency in front-end development and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to build responsive, accessible user interfaces.
- Solid software development and full-stack development capabilities across multiple layers of the stack.
- Experience with modern web technologies (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, React or similar frameworks, relational or NoSQL databases).
- Understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control (Git), testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Ability to analyze requirements, propose technical solutions, and work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
- Solid problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a focus on performance, reliability, and security.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Interest in education, student communities, or networking platforms is a plus.
