This organisation delivers critical services across Australia and is investing heavily in modern cloud-based platforms, data capabilities, regulatory systems and digital services. The team is seeking experienced Software Engineers to support a range of high-profile technology initiatives.
Your new role
You will work within Agile delivery teams to design, develop, test and maintain enterprise applications and cloud-native services. You'll contribute to the delivery of modern platforms, APIs, integrations and event-driven solutions while working in a secure, highly regulated environment. Responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing enterprise-grade software solutions
- Building cloud-native applications and integrations within AWS environments
- Developing front-end solutions using ReactJS where required
- Contributing to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices and containerised deployments
- Participating in Agile ceremonies and collaborative delivery activities
- Supporting testing, troubleshooting, monitoring and technical assurance activities
- Producing clear technical documentation and knowledge transfer artefacts
What you'll need to succeed To be successful,
you will bring experience across several of the following technologies and practices:
- Java and enterprise application development
- API development, microservices and integration solutions
- ReactJS and modern front-end development
- AWS cloud technologies
- Kubernetes and containerisation
- CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Apache Kafka, Scala, Spark, PostgreSQL or Elasticsearch
- Agile software delivery environments
- Solid testing and secure coding practices
Highly regarded experience includes:
- Palantir Foundry
- Pega
- ForgeRock
- ServiceNow
- Federal Government or other highly regulated environments
You MUST be an Australian Citizen and hold a current Baseline Security Clearance, or be eligible to obtain higher clearances if required.
