FULL-TIME GROOMER WANTED — COME JOIN OUR SALON FAMILY!

We’re looking for a full-time groomer to join our team — and honestly, we care just as much about who you are and how you work with people as we do about how you groom dogs.

We’re a small, close-knit team who genuinely enjoy working together and have built a supportive, inclusive workplace where everyone is respected and encouraged to be themselves.

What we’re looking for:

✂️ A confident groomer who can comfortably groom around 8 dogs a day with the assistance of our bathers. Our groomers aren’t expected to wash and dry their own dogs — our washroom team supports you so you can focus on grooming.

? A genuine team player. We want someone who communicates openly, has initiative and isn’t afraid to speak up, ask questions or suggest better ways of doing things.

? Someone who wants to grow. We have plenty of opportunities for training and development — whether you’re interested in breed standards, creative grooming, improving your technical skills, or learning the little tips and tricks that make grooming life easier.

? A willingness to work with challenging dogs would be a huge bonus! We particularly value groomers who are interested in learning how to work with anxious, fearful or aggressive dogs and helping them become more comfortable in the salon.

We work hard to maintain a respectful, supportive workplace where everyone helps each other succeed. We genuinely believe that everyone’s weaknesses can be supported by someone else’s strengths — and everyone’s strengths can help someone else grow.

We’d much rather teach, support and develop someone than have everyone struggling alone.

? We’re also fairly muzzle-free. We use low-stress handling techniques wherever it’s safe to do so.

Safety always comes first, but we believe patience, communication and understanding help dogs become more comfortable with grooming.

? Competitive pay based on experience, skills and the applicable award.

The non-negotiable:

Monday–Friday. This is a full time position, Monday to Friday.

That said, we understand that life happens. Time off is absolutely considered and accommodated where possible. We are humans, not robots.
