WHAT'S ON OFFER
Our client is looking for a General Foreman / 2ic to oversee one of the towers on a $600m BTR project in the Inner West. This is an opportunity for a General Foreman looking to work in a steady happy environment with excellent staff and systems. KEY****RESPONSIBILITIES
- Programming and co-ordination of sub-contractors, suppliers, and materials deliveries
- Developing and building strong rapport with site teams, internal and external stakeholders
- Liaison with client ensuring successful delivery of project to schedule
- Management of the construction program along with the Project Manager and Construction Manager
- Liaison with the commercial team to identify variations and claims
- Managing OHS compliance on site including site inductions
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Trade qualification as a Carpenter
- Minimum 10yrs local experience as a General Foreman delivering complex large multi-unit residential projects
- Good man-management skills with the ability to motivate and drive direct & sub-contract labour
- Highly skilled in OH&S;
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to solve problems and manage conflict effectively
- A commitment to quality and an eye for detail
