Role Overview The General Manager (GM) is responsible for the overall leadership and operational performance, with end-to-end accountability across sales, marketing, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and people.

This pivotal role will drive sustainable growth, operational excellence, and profitability while expanding NuTech Paint’s domestic and international presence and preserving the company's reputation for quality, innovation, and technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the execution and delivery of the organisation's five-year strategic plan.
- Provide strategic oversight across business growth initiatives, export market development, research and development, product innovation, acquisitions, alliances, and strategic partnerships.
- Ensure the effective leadership and performance of operations, manufacturing, supply chain,



sales and marketing, finance, governance, compliance, and workplace health and safety.
- Drive commercial growth while maintaining operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Build organisational capability and foster a high-performance culture across the business.

NuTech Paint employs approximately 50 staff across its facilities in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth.

Candidate Criteria

- Minimum 10 years' senior management experience within manufacturing, chemicals, coatings, or a related industry.
- Demonstrated success leading multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen.
- Experience in international business development and export market expansion.
- Proven track record in product innovation and commercialisation.
- Experience leading Research and Development (R&D;) functions.
- Experience evaluating, managing, or integrating business acquisitions is highly desirable.
- Excellent strategic planning and execution capabilities.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder relationship management skills.
- Outstanding communication and leadership abilities.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Engineering, Science, Chemistry, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.




- An MBA or postgraduate management qualification will be highly regarded.

The ideal candidate will likely possess a strong understanding of the specialty paints and coatings industry. However, NuTech Paint is open to considering candidates from related sectors who can demonstrate strong industry networks and a proven ability to drive business growth and market expansion.
