MHM is a well-established WA business operating within the maintenance, plant hire and civil sectors and we are looking to recruit an experienced General Manager.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the business while providing strategic leadership across all areas. This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can lead from the front, build strong client relationships and identify opportunities to improve performance and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Provide visible strategic and operational leadership across the business.

Drive sales growth, business development and client retention.

Develop new business opportunities and strengthen existing customer relationships.

Manage budgets, financial performance and profitability.

Oversee logistics, fleet utilisation and operational planning.

Develop, implement and continuously improve company policies,



procedures and systems.

Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team.

Monitor business performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure high standards of safety, compliance and customer service are maintained.

Work closely with the Director to deliver the company's long-term growth strategy.

About You

Bring a safety first approach to all decision making

Proven experience as a General Manager, Operations Manager or Senior Leader.

Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and business performance.

Demonstrated success in sales, business development and building long-term client relationships.

Experience managing logistics, operations and resource planning.

A confident leader with the ability to inspire, mentor and develop teams.

Robust organisational, communication and decision-making skills.

A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a passion for continuous improvement.
