The Company Our client is a growing Myanmar-based group with interests across infrastructure, investment, and natural resources . As the organization continues to develop its mining and exploration activities, it is strengthening its geological and technical capabilities to support current and future projects.

The Position The Geophysicist will play an key role in supporting mineral exploration and resource evaluation activities. The position will be responsible for planning and conducting geophysical surveys, processing and interpreting field data, and developing subsurface models to support exploration decisions.

Working closely with geologists, engineers, and field teams, the successful candidate will apply magnetic, gravity, electrical, electromagnetic, seismic, and other appropriate geophysical techniques . Responsibilities will include evaluating geological structures, preparing maps and technical models, interpreting exploration data,



and presenting findings and recommendations to management.

The position will involve regular travel to project and exploration sites and will ensure accurate technical documentation and compliance with relevant Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) requirements.

The Person

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geophysics, Geology, Earth Sciences, Physics, or a related discipline , with at least 5 years of relevant experience in geophysical exploration, mining, or natural resources.

Strong capability in geophysical data acquisition, processing, interpretation, and subsurface modeling is required, together with proficiency in relevant geophysical software. Experience with UAV Airborne Magnetic survey system, frequency and time domain are essential for this role. GIS, remote sensing, geospatial analysis, and mineral exploration projects would be advantageous.

The opportunity is open to expatriate and repatriate candidates who are comfortable working in field environments and traveling regularly to exploration sites in Myanmar.
