We have an exciting opportunity for Casual Sales Assistants to join our Glassons team at Homebush DFO!
It’s an exciting time for our Homebush team as we head into an expansion and we’re looking for enthusiastic, high-energy people to come along for the journey. Whether you already love retail or are keen to give it a go, this is a great opportunity to join a fun, fast-paced team and gain hands-on experience across all areas of the store.
Working in our DFO environment means no two days are quite the same. You’ll be engaging with customers and delivering the great service Glassons is known for, while also getting hands-on with the operational side of retail — from keeping the floor looking amazing and replenishing stock to helping the team keep everything running smoothly.
What you'll be doing
- Provide friendly and knowledgeable service to our customers, ensuring they have a positive shopping experience
- Bring energy and enthusiasm to the shop floor and create a fun, welcoming environment
- Assist with the presentation and maintenance of our store, ensuring it is clean, tidy and visually appealing at all times
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and providing excellent service at the point of sale
- Restock and replenish merchandise as needed, ensuring products are always available for our customers
- Get hands-on with the operational side of the store and support the team to keep things running efficiently
- Support the store team with various administrative and operational tasks as required
What we're looking for
- High energy,
enthusiasm and a positive attitude
- Someone who enjoys working as part of a team and isn't afraid to get stuck in
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the confidence to approach, engage and connect with customers
- Robust attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced retail environment
- Prior experience in retail or customer service is great, but definitely not essential — if you're keen to learn and ready to give retail a go, we'd love to hear from you!
