About the role

We are seeking an experienced Group HSE Manager to provide practical, visible and values-led leadership across our operations. This role will suit an HSE leader who can balance strategic governance with hands-on site engagement, ensuring systems are effective, embedded and scalable as the business grows.

Key responsibilities

- Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer your role will include,
- Strengthen HSE governance, manage risk and assurance, and support safe, healthy and sustainable operations.
- Provide visible HSE leadership and advise across all corporate and operational teams.
- Lead HSE governance, standards, systems and legislative compliance.
- Strengthen accountability for safety, health, wellbeing and risk management.
- Manage regulatory engagement, audits, inspections and critical control verification.
- Lead incident investigations, emergency preparedness and continuous improvement.
- Oversee environmental approvals, compliance, reporting and performance.
- Support rehabilitation, mine closure planning and ESG inputs.
- Deliver transparent HSE reporting, insights and recommendations to senior leaders.

About you

- Tertiary qualifications in OHS, Environmental Science or a related discipline, or equivalent senior operational experience.
- Leadership experience in gold or resources operations, ideally across open pit, underground and processing environments.




- Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and WA mining regulatory frameworks.
- Experience managing environmental compliance, approvals and permitting in an operating mine environment.
- Capability across risk management, emergency response, ICAM or equivalent investigations, injury management and workers' compensation.
- Experience developing and improving HSE management systems in growing or changing organisations.
- Strong facilitation skills across risk assessments, critical controls, learning reviews and root cause analysis.
- Experience with audits, HSE information systems and Microsoft Office.
- Exposure to ESG and sustainability reporting frameworks.
- Current WA C-class driver's licence.
