? Test Lead | 6-Month Contract | $800 Super per Day | Melbourne

Are you an experienced Test Lead with a passion for delivering large-scale enterprise transformation programs? We are seeking a hands-on Test Lead to lead the testing workstream for a major HCM implementation project. This role will be responsible for driving end-to-end testing activities, managing stakeholders, coordinating business testers, and ensuring successful delivery through to deployment readiness.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and manage the overall Test Strategy, Test Plans, governance, reporting cadence, and test schedules.
- Lead test planning, mobilisation activities, and coordination of business SMEs and functional leads.
- Oversee development of test scenarios, scripts, traceability matrices, and execution packs.
- Coordinate Functional, System, Integration, End-to-End (E2E), and Parallel Run testing cycles.
- Manage defect triage, reporting, retesting, closure activities, and quality metrics.
- Drive testing sign-off processes, readiness assessments, and deployment support.
- Coordinate payroll-related testing, data validation, reconciliation activities, and integration testing.

Essential Experience

- 8 years of Test Management/Test Leadership experience




- Proven experience leading testing workstreams within large-scale ERP, HCM, Payroll, or Digital Transformation programs
- Strong experience with:Test Strategy & GovernanceTest Planning & Execution Management
- Integration & End-to-End Testing, Defect Management & Reporting, Stakeholder & Vendor Management Risk, Dependency & Issue Management
- Experience coordinating business users, SMEs, functional teams, and external delivery partners
- Demonstrated ability to drive testing outcomes through to sign-off and deployment readiness

Desirable
- Experience with Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or other enterprise HCM platforms
- Payroll testing and parallel run experience
- Government or large enterprise project experience
