Basketball Coach – Summer 2026/27 Season

Season Dates: 12 October 2026 – 18 March 2027

Coaching Days: Mondays 5.30–6.30pm, Thursdays 4pm–7pm

(No sessions during school holidays)

About the Role

We are seeking a confident, reliable Basketball Coach to work with boys and girls aged 12–17 years throughout the summer season. The ideal coach will be positive, organised, and able to engage both age groups effectively. You may be assisted by one or two volunteer junior coaches.

Requirements

- Minimum age 18 years
- Confident coaching boys and girls aged 12–17
- ABN
- Relevant insurances (public liability + skilled indemnity)
- Working With Children Check
- Experience in basketball coaching or youth sport
- Reliable and committed for the full season
- Groups of 14- 18 players per session

Pay

- $30–$50 per hour, depending on experience
- Paid monthly via invoice
