As Head of Operations APAC, you will lead the Operations agenda for APAC, with limited oversight for Singapore, by safeguarding operational service levels toward partners and end users, driving consistent execution, and ensuring Operations supports commercial, customer and efficiency ambitions.

This role reflects a shift from an end-to-end transformation and operations mandate to a focused Operations integrator role, accountable for performance, execution discipline and control, while transformation design and digital capability are owned by a dedicated Digital Delivery function.

APAC operates with operational teams embedded close to customers, partners and business needs, with Singapore requiring limited oversight given its smaller operational footprint. Your role is to orchestrate, guide and enable operational performance across APAC while maintaining appropriate oversight of Singapore where required ensuring clear priorities, consistent service expectations and strong performance management.

At the same time, this is not purely an orchestration role. You will directly lead and govern key Operations capabilities that require an APAC-wide perspective, including Operational Excellence (OpX), operational performance steering, privacy coordination, outsourcing and vendor management, and Financial Economic Crime (FEC)-related operational coordination.

You will report to the General Manager, APAC and will be a member of the APAC leadership team. You will work in close partnership with the Head of Digital Delivery and other functional leaders to ensure effective execution and embedding of transformation initiatives across the region.

In this role, you will act as the Operations integrator for APAC with limited Singapore oversight, ensuring service levels, operational KPIs, performance dialogues and improvement initiatives are aligned and deliver consistent outcomes.

Your Mission

- Safeguard service levels toward partners and end users by ensuring strong operational performance across core operations activities including contract activation, servicing and onboarding
- Drive APAC Operations performance across key KPIs including turnaround time, service quality, productivity, efficiency and customer experience, with limited oversight for Singapore where required
- Establish and lead performance dialogues across markets, ensuring clear visibility of performance, risks and improvement opportunities
- Lead Operational Excellence (OpX) across APAC to deliver efficiency gains, process standardization and continuous improvement
- Identify, prioritize and deliver improvement initiatives with measurable operational and financial impact
- Support standardization and simplification of processes while allowing for appropriate local flexibility
- Act as the execution partner to Digital Delivery by translating transformation initiatives into operational reality
- Ensure operational readiness, adoption, scaling and benefit realization of transformation initiatives
- Orchestrate delivery across distributed teams rather than owning transformation design

- Coordinate Financial Economic Crime (FEC)-related operational activities, ensuring alignment across Operations, Risk and control functions
- Embed FEC controls into operational processes and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards
- Oversee privacy, risk and control activities across Operations
- Lead and manage key regional Operations capabilities including outsourcing relationships, vendor and partner onboarding, and customer service operations
- Ensure strong collaboration and clear handshakes across Commercial, CX, Risk, Finance, Digital and HR
- Lead, develop and inspire Operations teams across APAC
- Foster a culture of accountability, service excellence, continuous improvement and disciplined execution
- Foster a performance culture focused on accountability, customer outcomes, disciplined growth and collaboration across functions.

Skills and Capabilities Required

- Senior Operations leadership experience in a complex, multi-market environment
- Strong ability to orchestrate performance across distributed teams without full direct reporting lines
- Deep understanding of operational service delivery, KPI management and performance steering
- Experience in Operational Excellence, process improvement and efficiency programs
- Strong ability to translate strategic initiatives into operational execution and measurable outcomes
- Proven capability to work in partnership with Digital Delivery and other functional domains
- Strong understanding of operational governance, risk management and regulatory requirements
- Experience embedding control frameworks, including Financial Economic Crime (FEC) considerations, into operations
- Data-driven decision-making and performance management capability
- Strong stakeholder management across Commercial, CX, Risk, Finance, Digital and HR
- Strong people leadership and influencing skills, including coaching senior leaders
- Experience in financial services, leasing or vendor finance preferred
- Ability to lead through change while building alignment across markets and functions
