We are looking for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join a major Tailings Project within the mining sector.

This is a long-term contract opportunity working on a large and complex project that is moving into its next phase of construction, with a strong focus on Structural, Mechanical & Piping (SMP) and Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I;) activities.

- Long-term contract role
- FIFO from anywhere in Australia to NSW
- 12 days on / 9 days off roster
- Circa $1,400 per day
- Flights/travel and accommodation covered

Working as part of the project team, you will help drive strong health and safety outcomes across the project and work closely with project leadership, the EPCM contractor and construction contractors onsite. The project has a significant amount of activity underway, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a busy major-project environment and can build strong relationships with contractors and stakeholders.

Aspects of your role will include

- Supporting the delivery of H&S; programs across the Tailings Project.
- Working closely with EPCM and construction contractors to ensure H&S; standards and systems are being followed.
- Providing H&S; guidance across SMP and E&I; construction activities.
- Supporting governance, assurance,



risk management and critical control requirements.
- Providing practical advice and guidance to project leaders and key stakeholders.
- Identifying risks and helping ensure the right controls are in place throughout project execution.

We would love to speak with experienced H&S; professionals who have worked on major mining, engineering or capital projects. Ideally, you will bring
- Relevant H&S;, engineering or similar qualifications.
- Strong construction Health & Safety experience.
- Experience working within EPCM project environments.
- Good exposure to SMP and E&I; construction activities.
- Experience managing and working with contractors.
- Strong knowledge of H&S; systems, governance, assurance and critical controls.
- The confidence to engage with and influence stakeholders at all levels.
