We are actively looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Health Information Services Clerk. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and productive operation of Health Information Services, directly supporting patient care through a range of clerical and administrative tasks.

- The team operates Monday to Friday undertaking a variety of clerical roles with shifts between the hours of 7.00am and 6.00pm.
- Reporting to the Health Information Manager and working under the HIS Clerical Supervisor, you will be part of a highly regarded and supportive clerical team.
- Collaborating with a large team of clinical coders, Health Information Officer and Privacy Officer is an integral part of the role.

About You To be successful in this role, you will:

Have the capability to effectively support and meet the needs of a variety of customers, patients and staff.

- Be a positive, responsible, self-motivated person with excellent people and telephone skills.
- Have a robust focus on detail, highly developed relationship skills, a commitment to customer services, and above all, solid understanding of and commitment to patient confidentiality and privacy.
- Undertake duties as part of a team, working collaboratively and sharing roles and responsibilities.
- Be able to cope with the physical demands of the role.
- Have strong computer skills, including MS office.
- Have good written and verbal communication skills.





Remuneration

$35.85 - $39.96 superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
