Wisely is looking for experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters to join our team at Rolleston Mine. You will work in a well-equipped heavy maintenance workshop, maintaining Caterpillar haul trucks and ancillary equipment alongside a supportive, safety-focused team.

About the role
Working a rotating 7/7 day and night roster, with 12.5-hour shifts, you will:
- Maintain and repair Caterpillar 789, 793 and 785 haul trucks, dozers, graders, loaders and water carts.
- Complete scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance and workshop breakdown repairs.
- Carry out component changeouts and rebuilds, including engines, transmissions, final drives and drivetrains.
- Diagnose and repair faults across hydraulic, braking, suspension and engine systems.
- Follow site safety requirements, maintain service records and complete work to OEM standards.
What you will need
- Recognised mechanical or diesel fitting trade qualification.
- Experience maintaining heavy earthmoving or mining equipment.
- Sound diagnostic, fault-finding and component replacement skills.
- A practical, team-focused approach and strong commitment to safety.
- Coal Board Medical, Standard 11 and Glencore Generic, or willingness to obtain them.
Caterpillar experience is highly regarded.
Fitters with transferable experience across mining, civil, agricultural or other heavy equipment workshops are encouraged to apply. What is on offer
