School Bus Driving When Required

Are you a qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic looking for secure, well-paid work with autonomy and variety? We’re seeking a reliable mechanic who is also willing to drive school bus runs when necessary.

Variety between workshop and driving duties The Role

Servicing, maintenance, and repairs on heavy vehicles and buses

Driving school bus runs when required (AM/PM or relief work)

Working independently at our Plainlands depot,

with the possibility of supervising or working alongside an apprentice

Supported by a backup workshop team based in Karalee

Ensuring vehicles meet all safety, compliance, and roadworthy standards

What We’re Looking For





Qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

Ability to work independently and manage workload

Experience with buses or heavy vehicles preferred

MR/HR licence (or willingness to obtain)

Blue Card (or ability to obtain)

Reliable, safety-focused, and flexible
