We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Hifz Instructor to join our Kiewa Secondary Campus on a full-time basis.

About the Role

The Hifz Instructor will support students in the memorisation, revision and accurate recitation of the Holy Qur’an, while fostering a positive and engaging learning setting.

Key responsibilities include

- Delivering structured Hifz lessons and supporting students with Qur’an memorisation.
- Monitoring students' memorisation, revision and overall progress.
- Supporting students to develop accurate Qur’an recitation and Tajweed.
- Providing individual guidance and feedback to students.
- Maintaining appropriate records of student progress and achievement.
- Creating a respectful, encouraging and disciplined learning environment.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and College leadership.
- Supporting the Islamic ethos, values and expectations of Ilim College.

What You'll Bring

The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong knowledge of the Holy Qur’an, Hifz and Tajweed.
- Excellent Qur’an recitation and pronunciation.
- Experience teaching or supporting students in Qur’an memorisation is highly desirable.




- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and the ability to motivate and engage students.
- A commitment to supporting students' Islamic character and development.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A current Working with Children Check (Employee)
