We’re looking for an experienced HR Truck Driver (Leading Hand) to join our team and take on a key role in the day‑to‑day operations. If you’re a reliable operator with strong leadership skills and a hands‑on attitude, this is a great opportunity to step up and make an impact. This role will commence 14/09/26.

About the Role

As the Leading Hand, you’ll support the QLD Operations Supervisor by assisting with overseeing daily truck movements, ensuring safety and compliance, and helping guide a small team of drivers. You’ll still be behind the wheel, but you’ll also play a big part in keeping operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate HR vehicles safely and efficiently
- Lead, support and mentor a team of drivers
- Coordinate daily runs, deliveries and schedules




- Conduct pre‑start checks and ensure fleet compliance
- Assist with loading/unloading when required
- Maintain accurate paperwork and delivery records
- Promote a strong safety culture across the team

What We’re Looking For

- Current HR licence
- Previous Leading Hand or team‑leader experience (preferred)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Valuable knowledge of load restraint and safety procedures
- Physically fit and reliable
- Must have unlimited working rights in Australia

Candidate must be will to undergo a pre-employment medical including D&A; testing
