Love & Other is a premium wedding photography and filmmaking studio established in 2013, known for creating work that feels natural, cinematic and considered. We are looking for an experienced creative who is equally comfortable behind the camera on a wedding day and in the edit suite bringing a story together. You will work alongside our photography and video team capturing weddings across Melbourne and Victoria, while also contributing to the post-production of our wedding films.
Key responsibilities
- Capturing weddings as a lead or second photographer / videographer
- Working confidently in fast-paced wedding environments
- Recording and managing high-quality professional audio
- Working collaboratively alongside media team, planners, celebrants and other suppliers
- Providing calm, professional direction to couples when required
- Editing cinematic wedding films from start to finish
- Selecting and organising footage to build compelling, emotionally driven stories
- Colour grading and audio mixing
- Managing footage and projects within our established post-production workflow
About you
- Demonstrated experience filming and photographing weddings professionally
- Highly confident operating mirrorless or cinema camera systems
- Strong understanding of composition, movement, exposure and lighting
- Excellent knowledge of professional wedding audio recording
- Experienced video editor working in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Understanding of colour correction, colour grading and audio mixing
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of a larger photo and video team
- Able to remain calm and adaptable when wedding-day schedules change
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Reliable, organised and skilled
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport

We want our films to feel polished and cinematic without losing the personality, energy and emotion of the wedding itself. You will be joining an established and supportive creative team with experienced photographers, videographers and an in-house post-production workflow.
