Apollo Scoops is looking for a friendly and reliable recent team member to join our small team!
Located in Station Arcade on Hindley Street, Adelaide, Apollo Scoops serves ice cream, milkshakes, hot dogs and sweet treats in the heart of the city.
About the role
We're looking for someone who is confident working with customers and is happy working both independently and as part of a small team.
Your duties will include
- Serving ice cream and preparing milkshakes
- Preparing hot dogs and other menu items
- Providing friendly customer service
- Handling EFTPOS and cash transactions
- Opening/closing and general store duties
- Cleaning and maintaining the store
- Restocking products and supplies
Availability We're specifically looking for someone who is available Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights.
Availability across these shifts is important for this position.
There may also be opportunities for additional shifts depending on availability and business needs.
What we're looking for
- Friendly and confident with customers
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working independently
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment when busy
- Good communication skills
- Takes initiative and can keep busy during quieter periods
- Hospitality or customer service experience is preferred, but not essential
- Must hold or be willing to complete a recognised Food Safety certificate before commencing work
