About The Role Hrishi Digital Solutions is sourcing mainframe ICT specialists for a contract engagement with a Northern Territory Government agency. Multiple positions are available across three levels.

Technical Lead: Senior technical oversight, mentoring the development group, and escalation point for mainframe issues.

Team Lead (multiple): Coordinating developers, release planning, client liaison, and quality assurance.

Developer (multiple): Hands-on development and maintenance of mainframe business applications.

All positions are onsite in Darwin and require the ability to obtain relevant clearances if requested. Technical Lead and Team Lead applicants should also demonstrate experience leading and mentoring application development teams.

Key duties and responsibilities

- Maintaining and enhancing mainframe business applications hosted on NTG infrastructure
- Planning and delivering complex system releases across development, test, and production environments




- Developing and maintaining the mainframe application code base
- Providing 3rd level technical support for mainframe business information systems
- Developing technical, operational, and procedural documentation
- Advising clients on integration point impacts across projects
- Stakeholder engagement across internal and external NTG teams

Essential Skills And Experience

- Demonstrated experience in mainframe application development lifecycle and integrated development environments
- Hands-on experience with mainframe programming subsystems: COBOL, CICS, TSO, QMF, ISPF, JCL, DB2, SQL, EGL, BIRT
- Based in Darwin or willing to relocate, as the position is onsite
- Ability to obtain Ochre Card, Police Clearance, and PF166 if requested

Desirable
- Experience with mainframe modernisation using Rocket LegaSuite products
