About the role

This is a sales and marketing focused position. The successful applicant will take ownership of the complete sales process for available units, from preparing and presenting the property for sale through to marketing, conducting inspections, following up enquiries and successfully securing new residents. The role will also have a robust focus on promoting the village lifestyle, maintaining an engaging online presence and building a positive and connected community for existing and prospective residents.

Key responsibilities

- Take ownership of the complete sales process for available retirement village units

- Prepare vacant units for sale, coordinating presentation, cleaning, maintenance, repairs

- Develop engaging property listings, including descriptions, photography and promotional material

- Conduct inspections and personally showcase available homes, village facilities and the benefits of retirement village living

- Respond promptly to sales enquiries and actively follow up prospective residents and their families

- Build strong relationships with prospective residents and guide them through the sales process from initial enquiry through to contract, settlement and move-in

- Maintain a database of prospective residents and actively manage and follow up leads

- Develop referral relationships with local businesses,



community groups, health professionals and other relevant organisations

- Maintain and regularly update the village website, ensuring property listings, photographs, information and content are current and engaging

- Manage the village's social media presence and maintain a regular, professional and engaging online profile

About you

- Demonstrated experience in sales, real estate, property, marketing, business development or a similar customer-focused role

- Experience in retirement living, hospitality, aged care or community environments would be highly regarded

- Proven ability to manage enquiries, develop relationships and convert leads into successful sales

- Confidence conducting property inspections and presenting homes to prospective purchasers

- Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills

- Excellent written communication skills and the ability to create engaging marketing content

- Experience managing websites, social media platforms and digital marketing

- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office

- Solid organisational and time-management skills

- Real estate experience and/or an appropriate Victorian real estate qualification will be highly regarded
