With our recent move to Warabrook, we are now positioned in a prime industrial and commercial hub — closer to Newcastle, key transport links, and major clients.
We are seeking a driven and commercially astute Industrial Sales Representative to lead new business growth and strengthen key client relationships.
The Opportunity
This is not a "sit behind a desk" sales role.
This is an autonomous, relationship-driven position where you will:
- Build and manage your own sales pipeline
- Identify and convert new business opportunities
- Strengthen and grow existing accounts
- Collaborate with our workshop and leadership team
- Influence strategy and contribute to company growth
You will play a key role in shaping Prolec's expansion and positioning in the market.
What You'll Be Doing
New Business Development
- Proactively identify and target new clients
- Build robust industry networks
- Conduct client meetings and solution presentations
- Develop proposals and pricing strategies
- Manage objections and close deals
- Own your pipeline and revenue targets
Account Management & Retention
- Grow existing client accounts
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Coordinate with technical teams to deliver outstanding service
- Conduct client debriefs and strengthen long-term partnerships
Strategic Growth
- Attend industry events and represent Prolec professionally
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends
- Contribute to sales strategy and service development
- Provide accurate forecasting and reporting via CRM
What We're Looking For
You are
- A proven Sales Professional (2 years experience minimum)
- Results-driven and confident closing deals
- Highly proactive and self-motivated
- Commercially savvy with strong negotiation skills
- Excellent in written and verbal communication
- Comfortable working autonomously
- Organised and strong with CRM/sales systems
Candidates must possess Australian work rights to be eligible for this position.
Desirable
- Experience in industrial, electrical, manufacturing or trade-related industries
- Existing industry networks in NSW

Hours
Full-time | Monday–Friday
Some travel and occasional after-hours work may be required.
