Role Description The Information Security Analyst at Italia Del Gusto - Consorzio is a part-time, remote role focused on protecting the organization’s information assets and technology environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring security events and alerts, analyzing potential threats, and supporting incident response activities. The person in this role will review and improve security controls across applications and networks, assist in vulnerability assessments, and help ensure compliance with internal security policies and relevant standards.

The analyst will collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to provide security guidance, document findings, and contribute to security awareness efforts within the organization.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Cybersecurity and Information Security skills, including understanding of security frameworks, threat landscapes, and risk management principles.
- Candidates should possess Network Security skills, including experience with firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, secure network configuration, and monitoring tools.




- Candidates should possess Application Security skills, including familiarity with secure software development practices, common application vulnerabilities, and methods for testing and hardening applications.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret log data, investigate anomalies, and clearly communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, or similar) are beneficial but not required.
- Experience working in a remote, distributed setting with strong self-management, time management, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with security incident response processes, basic scripting or automation skills, and an ongoing commitment to learning in the information security domain are advantageous.
