Interior Decorator - Claire Stevens Interior Design

Brisbane | Flexible role – minimum 3 days per week (FT, or part-time considered)

Claire Stevens Interior Design is looking for an experienced Interior Decorator to join our Brisbane studio.

We’re seeking a creative, organised and passionate designer with a strong eye for detail and a love of beautiful residential interiors. Working across our high-end residential projects, you’ll be involved from initial concept and sourcing through to procurement, installation and final styling.

The role will include furniture and fabric sourcing, window coverings, custom soft furnishings, lighting, floor coverings, client presentations, quoting, project coordination and styling. You’ll work closely with Claire, our design team, clients, suppliers and trades to bring each project together.

About you

- Minimum 5 years experience in interior decoration, ideally within high-end residential projects.
- Qualification in Interior Design or Decoration.




- Strong knowledge of furniture, fabrics, window coverings, soft furnishings and lighting.
- Confident preparing concepts, sourcing, quoting and managing orders.
- Experience with AutoCAD and design software highly regarded.
- Highly organised with excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Able to manage projects independently while enjoying being part of a team-oriented team.
- A genuine passion for interiors, styling and all things design.

This is a flexible position of a minimum three days per week, with the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of beautiful residential projects.
