About the role

We are seeking an Intermediate Accountant with 2–4 years' experience in a public practice environment to join our growing team. This is a full-time, on-site role in Annandale, working closely with Partners and senior team members to deliver high-quality taxation and accounting services to a portfolio of high-net-worth clients and their business interests. You'll be given genuine ownership of client work, with support to progress toward more senior responsibilities.

What you'll be doing

- Preparing and reviewing tax returns and financial statements for individuals, trusts and companies
- Managing a portfolio of client accounts, including reconciliations and general ledger work
- Liaising directly with clients to resolve accounting and tax queries
- Supporting senior accountants and Partners on advisory and compliance engagements




- Maintaining accurate client files and documentation in line with firm procedures
- Contributing to process improvements and mentoring of junior staff as the role develops

What we're looking for

- Degree in Accounting, Commerce or a related field
- 2–4 years' experience in a public practice accounting firm
- Working knowledge of accounting standards and Australian taxation legislation
- Proficiency with Xero, Excel
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Clear communicator, comfortable liaising directly with clients
- CA qualification completed or in progress
- Desirable: Experience with high-net-worth individuals.
