About ReledevReledev Australia is a small, dedicated not-for-profit organisation delivering international development programs through education in the Philippines, Bolivia and Guatemala, in partnership with aligned local organisations. Reledev receives Australian NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP) funding through the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and is a signatory to the ACFID Code of Conduct.
Position Summary The International Project Coordinator is an entry-level role supporting Reledev's overseas partnership program, with a particular focus on ANCP compliance, reporting, and partner liaison. The role suits a candidate early in their international development career who has strong written communication skills, high attention to detail, and an interest in project monitoring, evaluation and cross-cultural partnership work. The successful candidate will work closely with the General Manager and support Reledev's broader promotional and community engagement activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support tasks associated with Reledev's overseas partners funded under the Australian NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP), including project monitoring, evaluation and reporting.
- Assist with the submission of ANCP Annual Development (AD) Plans and Project Performance Reports via the ANCP SmartyGrants Portal within required timeframes.
- Liaise with overseas partners on AD Plans and project/report narratives to ensure accurate and complete information.
- Maintain Reledev's policies, guidelines, procedures and forms in line with ACFID compliance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Reledev's Child Safeguarding and Prevention of Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment (PSEAH) policies, particularly in relation to overseas projects and general Reledev operations.
- Assist in promoting Reledev's activities, and liaise with members, volunteers, community organisations and individuals.
- Perform other Reledev-related duties as required from time to time by the General Manager.
- Ensure all conduct within the organisation complies with Australian law and with Reledev's Code of Conduct and policy suite, in line with its obligations as an ACFID member.
Key Selection Criteria
Essential
• Tertiary qualification in international development, humanitarian studies, social sciences, or a related field (or working towards).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce explicit, accurate reporting for donors and partners.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and the ability to build respectful working relationships with overseas partners.
• Sound understanding of, or willingness to learn, safeguarding principles including child safeguarding and PSEAH.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort learning new online systems (e.g. SmartyGrants).
• Some flexibility to accommodate occasional early or late meetings with international partners across different time zones.
• Commitment to Reledev's mission and values.
Desirable
• Spanish and/or Filipino/Tagalog language skills.
• Prior experience or study placement in the international development or NGO sector.
• Familiarity with DFAT/ANCP funding requirements or the ACFID Code of Conduct.
• Experience with monitoring and evaluation frameworks or grant/report writing.
Employment Conditions
- This position requires a satisfactory Working with Children Check (or equivalent) and National Police Check.
- The successful candidate will be required to sign and abide by Reledev's Code of Conduct, Child Safeguarding Policy, and PSEAH Policy.
- Probation six months
Part-time — 10 hours per week
