Role Description

We are seeking a reliable and service-oriented IT Support Officer to provide technical support and maintain the organization’s IT systems, hardware, software, and user access. The role involves responding to technical support requests, diagnosing and resolving IT issues, and ensuring users have the tools and systems required to work effectively.

Key responsibilities include providing first-level technical support, installing and configuring hardware and software, troubleshooting operating system, application, network, and connectivity issues, managing user accounts and access permissions, and maintaining IT equipment and documentation. The role also involves monitoring IT systems, escalating complex technical issues when necessary, supporting system upgrades and maintenance, and contributing to the improvement of IT support processes and service quality.

Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Positive understanding of computer hardware,



operating systems, networking, and common business applications.
- Familiarity with Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, basic network troubleshooting, and user account management.
- Experience with IT ticketing systems, remote support tools, and IT service management practices is an advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to diagnose technical issues systematically and provide effective solutions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer-service mindset.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple support requests.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, adaptable, and willing to learn new technologies.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
