Role Description This is a full time, in office role based in Northern Territory, Australia.
The Job
Title role is responsible for supporting daily equipment hire operations, including coordinating rentals, assisting customers with inquiries, and ensuring accurate documentation and system updates. The position works closely with branch and operations teams to help schedule equipment, monitor availability, and support safe, compliant delivery and return processes. The role also contributes to maintaining solid customer relationships,
upholding safety standards, and assisting with continuous improvement initiatives within the branch. Occasional collaboration with other branches or teams may be required to meet project demands and service levels.
Qualifications
- Experience in equipment hire, logistics, or related operational environments, preferably within mining, construction, industrial, or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and respond promptly to client needs.
- Good organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills to handle multiple rentals, schedules, and documentation accurately.
- Understanding of safety, compliance, and basic SHEQ principles, with a commitment to safe work practices and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work effectively on-site in Northern Territory, Australia, collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency with computer systems and basic MS Office or similar tools; experience with rental or ERP systems is an advantage.
- Relevant vocational training or qualifications in business, logistics, operations, or a related field are desirable.
- Previous experience in a B2B environment and familiarity with large project operations or government/defence work is beneficial.
