Company Description Cue Ball is a small, close-knit creative studio with over two decades of combined agency experience across strategy, design, and digital, without the overhead or hierarchy of a large agency. The team delivers end-to-end services, including brand identity, logo design, brand strategy and positioning, digital and website design, and UI/UX design. Cue Ball also works across motion, 2D animation, illustration, visual systems, product prototypes, and long-form design such as annual reports.

The studio supports clients with production-ready outputs, including printing, email templates, SEO, and AI-powered workflow optimisation. Cue Ball focuses on building and refreshing brands, and helping them scale with sharp, meaningful, and memorable creative work.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Graphic Designer role based in Fremantle, WA.

The Junior Graphic

Designer will support the design team in creating visual assets for brand identity, logos, digital campaigns, websites, and UI elements, following established brand guidelines.

Responsibilities include preparing layouts, refining typography, assisting with illustration and iconography, and producing artwork for print and digital channels. The role involves collaborating with senior designers and strategists,



contributing to concept development, and iterating on feedback to improve design outcomes.

The Junior Graphic

Designer will also help with file preparation, quality checks, and basic production support to ensure deliverables are accurate, consistent, and on time.

Qualifications

- Robust foundation in Graphic Design and Graphics, with the ability to translate concepts into clear, engaging visual solutions.
- Skills in Logo Design and Branding, including working within existing brand systems and contributing to new identity development.
- Solid understanding of Typography, including hierarchy, legibility, and pairing typefaces for both digital and print applications.
- Proficiency with industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Figma or similar).
- Portfolio demonstrating relevant design work, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative studio environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, follow creative direction, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, on-site setting.
- Relevant qualification in graphic design or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
