Next Door Espresso is looking for a reliable, energetic Junior Kitchen Hand to join our BOH team.
This is a excellent opportunity for someone wanting to start their career in hospitality, learn from experienced chefs and develop their kitchen skills.
The role includes:
- Dishes and keeping the kitchen clean and organised
- Basic food prep and food handling
- Making açaí bowls, milkshakes and other items
- Assisting chefs during service
- Restocking fridges, cold rooms and kitchen stations
- Receiving and moving produce and stock
- General kitchen cleaning and organisation
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a great attitude and strong work ethic
- Is happy to get stuck in — including doing dishes!
- Is reliable, punctual and works well in a team
- Can work quickly in a busy environment
- Is physically capable of lifting and moving produce boxes and stock
- Takes pride in keeping their workspace clean and organised
- Is keen to learn and build a career in hospitality
Experience isn’t essential — attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are more important to us.
Monday–Friday position with full-time hours available for the right person.
Free staff meal on eligible shifts.
