Skillset is seeking a motivated and career-focused Junior Project Manager to join our client, a leading construction and manufacturing organisation operating across Australia and New Zealand.

This exciting opportunity is located in Orange, NSW and suited to someone looking to build a long-term career in construction project management while contributing to the successful delivery of high-quality projects.

Reporting to senior members of the Project Management team, you will play a key role in planning, coordinating and supervising construction projects from commencement through to completion. You will work closely with clients, contractors, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

About You

You're someone who enjoys seeing projects come to life and wants to build a long-term career in construction project management. You thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy solving problems and take pride in delivering projects on time and to a high standard.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

- Previous experience in construction, project coordination, site supervision or a related role, with a genuine desire to progress into project management
- Certificate IV in Project Management or a relevant construction qualification




- Strong communication skills and the confidence to build relationships with clients, contractors and suppliers
- The ability to stay organised, manage competing priorities and keep projects moving forward
- A proactive mindset with the confidence to solve problems and make decisions when challenges arise
- A solid understanding of construction processes, building codes and WHS requirements
- Experience using project management software such as Aconex, Primavera or similar systems
- A White Card and current Driver Licence

Key Responsibilities

- Assisting with the planning, coordination and delivery of construction projects from start to finish
- Working closely with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders to keep projects running smoothly
- Managing project schedules, budgets and resources to help achieve successful outcomes
- Coordinating subcontractors and procurement activities to ensure projects stay on track
- Reviewing plans, specifications and project documentation to support quality project delivery
- Monitoring progress on-site and proactively resolving issues before they impact timelines or budgets
- Supporting compliance with building regulations, permits and workplace safety requirements




- Building strong working relationships that contribute to positive project outcomes and repeat business
- Learning from experienced Project Managers and developing the skills required to manage larger, more complex projects in the future
