About the Role

SSP Australia is seeking Kitchen Hands, Cooks and Chefs at all levels to join our exciting new opening, The Rocks Taphouse, at Sydney Airport T2. We are currently recruiting for Full time, Part-Time and Casual positions, with opportunities available across different levels of experience.

Whether you’re an experienced Chef, a passionate Cook or looking to start or develop your career in a professional kitchen, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a brand-new venue opening.

You will work as part of an experienced culinary team, supporting food preparation and service while maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, food safety and hygiene.

What skills and experience are we looking for?

- Kitchen Hands, Cooks and Chefs are encouraged to apply

- Previous experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment is desirable
- For Chef positions: Previous experience within a similar role of preferably 2 years
- For Chef positions: Food Safety Supervisor Certificate – desirable

- Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong multitasking skills and a can-do attitude

- Reliable, positive and willing to learn
