Marino Fine Foods located in Croydon Park, is a wholesale site and manufacturing facility. Our clientele in the food service industry respects us for our quality products including free-range salami, whole muscle salumi, smallgoods, and fresh sausages. We are currently looking for a meat process worker and labourer / meat packer to join our team (more than one role available).

The person/s we are looking for has the ability to work with raw meat, smallgoods, and to listen and follow instruction. Previous experience within the meat industry or in a kitchen / laboureing role would be desirable, but not a requirement as full training will be provided. You must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to use initiative and work within a team. Monday through Friday roster with 6am starts, so own transport would be best.

Position 1: meat process worker - hours available over five days for the right candidate,



up to 38 hours per week (meets requirement for working holiday makers 88 days; looking for a minimum 6 month commitment)

Position 2: labourer / meat packer - hours available over at least three days per week, 15-20 hours per week

Duties might include

- Packing smallgoods and other cooked and raw meat products

- Washing smallgoods

- Slicing smallgoods

- Use of meat processing equipment including mincer, tumbler, brine injector, oven, burger machine and bandsaw

- Use of packing equipment including dipper, vacuum packer and slicer

- Use of knives

- Production of gnocchi and packing of gnocchi

- General cleaning duties

- Ability to lift heavy cartons (up to 20kg) in and out of of small spaces and to hand load cartons on and off pallets
