Factory Labourer / Forklift Operator

Casual position

MADE Prefab is seeking a reliable and hardworking Factory Labourer with a current forklift licence to join our team in Sunshine North.

We manufacture prefabricated steel reinforcement cages for the construction industry. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys physical work and working as part of a production team.

About the role

Your duties will include

- Loading, unloading and moving materials using a forklift

- Assisting with the assembly and production of steel reinforcement cages

- Handling and organising steel materials

- Using basic hand and power tools

- Preparing materials for production

- Keeping the factory and work areas clean and organised

- Following workplace health and safety procedures

- Assisting other team members as required

What we’re looking for

- A current Australian forklift licence – essential

- Previous experience in a factory,



warehouse, construction or manufacturing environment

- Physically fit and comfortable performing manual work

- Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team

- Strong commitment to workplace safety

- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently

- Own reliable transport to and from Sunshine North

- Full Australian working rights

Experience working with steel or in reinforcement fabrication would be an advantage, but training can be provided to the right person.
