Concreter / Concrete Labourer

We’re looking for a hard-working Concreter / Concrete Labourer to join our crew. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working outdoors, being part of a strong team and taking pride in producing quality concrete work.

You don’t need to know everything from day one. What matters most is that you turn up, work hard, listen, learn and take pride in the job.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll work alongside experienced concreters across a variety of projects, including:

- Site preparation and general labouring
- Setting up and stripping formwork
- Installing reinforcement and mesh
- Preparing areas ready for concrete pours
- Placing, screeding and finishing concrete
- Operating hand tools and small plant
- Assisting with excavation and site preparation
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment
- Keeping work areas organised and safe
- Learning different concreting techniques from experienced crew members

No two days are exactly the same, and you’ll have the opportunity to develop genuine construction skills rather than just carrying materials around a site.

Requirements

Ideally, you will have:

- Construction White Card
- Current driver licence
- Reliable transport
- Suitable PPE
- Construction or concreting experience is an advantage The Standard
