Launceston Electrical Solutions is looking for a reliable and motivated Labourer / Trade Assistant to join our growing team, based from our Launceston depot.

No electrical or trade experience is required, and this is not an electrical apprenticeship position.

This role would suit someone looking for an opportunity to get into a hands-on industry, learn current skills and build a long-term career with a growing company.

For us, attitude is more important than experience. We are looking for someone who is reliable, willing to listen, keen to learn and happy to work as part of a team.

About the Role

Working alongside and under the direction of our qualified tradespeople, your duties may include:

- Assisting our HVAC technicians with servicing and maintenance

- Providing labouring assistance on ducted air-conditioning installations

- Solar panel cleaning and general non-electrical solar maintenance

- Moving, preparing and organising equipment and materials

- Assisting tradespeople with installation preparation and site works

- General labouring and trade-assistant duties

- Maintaining clean and safe work areas

- Assisting our electrical, solar and HVAC teams with non-licensed activities as required

The successful applicant will not be expected to undertake electrical work or other licensed work unless appropriately qualified, licensed or otherwise legally permitted to do so.

Future Training & Career Development For the right person, we are prepared to invest in their development.

As you gain experience,



there may be opportunities to undertake further training and qualifications, including training towards working on split-system air-conditioning equipment, subject to the appropriate training and licensing requirements.
