THE ROLE:

We are a Landscape Architecture studio based in Fairfield, Melbourne looking for a person to join us designing beautiful gardens public spaces across Melbourne, the Mornington Peninsula and Greater Victoria.

You will be involved in all parts of the process from concept, through design documentation, tendering, construction management and overseeing planting. The focus of the role will be supporting the two design directors producing concept and documentation packages. We delight in a thoughtful and engaged design process and maintain a high level of onsite involvement throughout the construction phase.

Our design studio prioritizes rigorous design testing, considered detail resolution, and crafted execution on site.

We have a strong focus on communication and team play, working with a broader network of collaborators. You will be part of a friendly and professional studio team, work closely with the design directors, manage timelines to meet project goals.

You will regularly attend site meetings to oversee and report on construction progress. With an emphasis on planting design and horticulture in our work, you will be part of the sourcing, collation, and onsite arrangement of planting. You will assist with day to day office admin tasks associated with running a design studio.

THE SKILLS:





- Around 2-5 years’ experience working as a Landscape Architect or Landscape Designer
- Strong documentation skills, and experience delivering technical design packages - drawings, schedules, specifications
- Capability in Autocad, with modeling and rendering a bonus (Rhino3D Lumion)
- Plant Knowledge and a good eye for Design
- Positive team player who values collaboration
- You will need a driver’s license
- Applicants must hold current working rights in Australia

The role is 4 days a week initially.

The position is located in Melbourne. To be considered you must be an Australian resident currently living in Melbourne with relevant Australian experience and a good understanding of the Melbourne residential landscape design industry.

The salary range is negotiable and will be based on demonstrated experience and abilities.
