Join Our Large Format Production Team

We are a busy, growing commercial printing company in Melbourne’s Eastern Suburbs seeking an experienced Large Format Print Production Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day workflow of our large format department.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced print environment and can manage multiple jobs through production while maintaining quality, efficiency, and deadlines.

About this opportunity

You will coordinate the end-to-end large format production workflow — from prepress and quoting through to printing, cutting, finishing, packing, and dispatch. Working closely with production and customer service teams, you will ensure jobs are correctly prioritised, scheduled, and communicated to meet customer deadlines.

This is a strong opportunity for an experienced large format printer, production coordinator, traffic manager, or production supervisor ready to step up.

You will play a key role in ensuring the department runs efficiently and that the right job is on the right machine, at the right time, and completed to the right standard.

Key responsibilities

- Coordinate daily workflow across the large format department
- Schedule and prioritise jobs based on deadlines and production capacity
- Manage multiple jobs and shifting priorities under pressure




- Ensure schedules and turnaround times are clearly communicated
- Operate and coordinate large format printers, cutting equipment, and finishing machinery
- Oversee printing, cutting, finishing, packing, and dispatch
- Liaise with prepress to ensure files and specifications are production-ready
- Review job requirements and identify production risks early
- Monitor job progress and resolve bottlenecks or delays
- Maintain consistent production quality standards

About you

- Has solid experience in large format printing and production
- Understands the full print-to-finish workflow
- Has experience with digital large format printers and finishing equipment
- Can confidently manage multiple jobs and competing deadlines
- Has robust organisational and communication skills
- Is proactive and identifies issues before they impact production
- Has excellent attention to detail and quality standards
- Remains calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Can effectively coordinate workflow and production priorities
