About the role

As Lead Rigger, you will be responsible for leading the crew on site and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. This role involves a mixture of Perth metro and regional WA projects, so applicants must be willing to travel and work away when required.

Key responsibilities

- Leading and supervising rigging crews on site
- Telecommunications rigging, installation and upgrade works
- Installation and removal of antennas, RRUs, feeders and associated equipment
- Tower, monopole and rooftop works
- Coordinating daily site activities and allocating tasks to crew members
- Reading and working from construction drawings, RF designs and scopes of work
- Ensuring installations meet client specifications and quality requirements
- Identifying and resolving issues on site
- Liaising with MCE management, clients and other contractors as required
- Maintaining high safety and workmanship standards

About you

- Robust telecommunications rigging experience




- Previous experience as a Lead Rigger, Senior Rigger or Rigging Supervisor
- Ability to confidently run a telecommunications site and lead a crew
- Strong knowledge of telecommunications installation standards and procedures
- Experience across Telstra, Optus and/or TPG/Vodafone projects
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to completing works correctly the first time
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and make decisions on site
- Basic, Intermediate or Advanced Rigging High Risk Work Licence
- Working at Heights, Tower Rescue, First Aid & CPR, Construction White Card, Current Australian driver's licence
