We are very lucky in the Alpine Shire to have three wonderful libraries for our community to visit, explore and enjoy. As part of our team, you will assist in effectively delivering comprehensive and timely library support and customer service to our communities.

Our Ideal Candidate
You will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and use technology and innovative software solutions to get your job done well!
You’ll be available and willing to work Saturdays and across our three Library locations.
Your flexibility, enthusiasm and confidence will have a positive influence on our customers and other team members! Additionally, your professionalism will enhance Council’s reputation as a responsive and productive organisation.
Ideally, you will also have:
- Experience in a similar role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills & excellent customer service.
- Sound computer skills and an eagerness to learn different systems.
- Certificate 4 or tertiary qualification recognised by the Australian Library and Information Association is desirable.
- Valid Victorian Working with Children Check (can be acquired prior to commencement).
- An energetic and engaging personality
