As a proud one-stop shop for accredited and non-accredited training, we deliver high-quality, engaging and creative courses across Aquatics, First Aid, Business and Hospitality — with trainers around the country and partnerships around the globe. We're looking for an experienced (or up-and-coming) Lifeguard Trainer and Assessor to join our growing SEQ team and help us to continue amplifying potential across the aquatic industry.
The Role
You'll deliver a variety of Aquatic Industry courses, with a focus on:
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid (inc. CPR)
- HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Full Pool Lifeguard qualification
- Pool Lifeguard Update / Renewal
You'll be delivering training and assessment across pool and aquatic facilities throughout South East Queensland, working with schools, councils, aquatic centres and industry partners to build the next generation of qualified lifeguards. As part of our one-stop-shop model, there's genuine scope to grow your skillset beyond aquatics, with opportunities to expand into hospitality and business training as your career with Ampd develops.
What You'll Need
Essential:
- Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122, TAE40116 or TAE40110)
- Current Pool Lifeguard qualification
- Current CPR and First Aid qualification
- Experience working in the aquatic industry
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Australian driver's licence
- Full working rights in Australia
- Willingness and ability to travel across South East Queensland as required
Highly desirable:
- Current training and assessment experience
- Ability to deliver across a broader range of units within the SIS Aquatic training package
