Ezi Recruitment currently seeking experienced AM/PM Linehaul Loaders / Forklift Operators to join a busy and growing transport operation based in Altona, VIC.
Working within a fast paced freight environment, you will be responsible for loading and unloading interstate linehaul trailers, securing freight using load restraint and strapping techniques, scanning freight, checking consignments and ensuring all loads are distributed safely and efficiently.
This role is suited to candidates who have previous linehaul experience, a strong safety focus and a solid understanding of freight operations, load restraint and Chain of Responsibility requirements.
Skills & Experience
- Current LF Forklift Licence
- Previous linehaul loading or unloading experience (preferred)
- Experience loading interstate trailers
- Understanding of load restraint, weight distribution and freight safety requirements
- Experience using RF scanners or freight scanning equipment
- Reliable, safety focused and able to work in a team workplace
