We are now looking for experienced and passionate Casual Support Workers to join our team.

About the Role

This is a excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and wants to make a real difference in their day-to-day lives.

We have a range of casual shifts available across our Supported Independent Living (SIL) houses and community services , including day, afternoon, overnight, weekend and leave cover.

Applicants must be willing to undertake sleep shifts.

As a Support Worker, you will provide individualised care and support while encouraging choice, independence and participation. You will work alongside our Team Leaders and other Support Workers to provide a safe, supportive and positive environment for the people we support.

What you'll be doing

- Providing person-centred support within our SIL houses and community

- Supporting clients with daily living activities and household routines

- Supporting community access, appointments and activities

- Encouraging independence and supporting individual goals

- Building positive and respectful relationships with the people we support

- Working closely with Team Leaders and other Support Workers





- Working independently while also being part of a team

- Following individual support plans, policies and procedures

- Maintaining NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Standards

- Completing relevant documentation and reporting

What we're looking for

We're looking for people who are reliable, caring and genuinely enjoy supporting others .

You will ideally have:

- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care or a related field

- Previous experience in NDIS, disability, aged care, SIL or community support

- Good written and verbal communication skills

- A genuine person-centred approach

- Current First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain

- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, or willingness to obtain

- Current Australian full driver's licence

- Willingness to work sleep shifts
