About The Role
We are looking for someone who is prepared to work a minimum of 0.5 FTE per fortnight on a permanent basis and who has already gained experience in Rehabilitation.
Your main duties will include:
Provision of general and specialist Rehabilitation nursing requiring a large range of clinical skillsStrong focus on goal setting and promotion of independence and carer trainingGeneral holistic assessment, patient and family education with discharge planning to home the primary goalLead a nursing team and role model the Mission & Values of Calvary Healthcare Tasmania
About You
A patient and family-centred approach to care delivery and discharge planningCompetency in clinical assessment, consultation,
liaison and care provision along a continuum of care.A wide range of clinical skills and/or willingness to learnA strong commitment to customer service and risk managementA commitment to their own learning and quality improvement and developing same in a large team of Enrolled & Registered Nurses Level 1Registered with APHRAMinimum of 24months experience in an acute care setting
