About the Role

We're looking for an experienced and safety-focused Heavy Plant Operator to join our operations team on a full-time basis. Based across our Wingfield and Buckland Park sites, you'll operate modern loaders as part of our composting and recycling operations. This is a varied role where no two days are the same. One day you may be feeding high-speed grinders, the next you're loading trucks, blending products or managing stockpiles.

Hours: 5:45am – 2:00pm, Monday to Friday, with overtime available when required.

What You'll Be Doing

- Operate loaders across a variety of recycling and composting operations.
- Feed high-speed grinders, manage stockpiles and load trucks and trailers.
- Blend products to meet quality and production requirements.
- Complete pre-start inspections and maintain a strong focus on safe work practices.
- Record production information using tablets and digital systems.
- Support the wider operations team to keep the site running safely and efficiently.




- Assist with general operational tasks, including clearing blockages and basic machine housekeeping when required.

About You

You'll be someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and takes pride in operating machinery safely and efficiently.

You'll bring

- Experience operating front-end loaders.
- A current loader ticket (highly regarded).
- Experience loading trucks and trailers (desirable).
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- A commitment to working safely and supporting your team.
- The ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- A current driver's licence and reliable transport.
- The ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
